I know not everyone has or needs a winter beater. I live in the Greater Buffalo, NY metro area. If you want anything to stay nice you don't drive it in the winter salt.
I will start with my Tundra and then winter car.

How is the Snow in Buffalo? I use to live near Rochester and we would get a pounding from the lake effect.

Here in Houston winter isn’t tough on cars and trucks, but the idiots that live here are, so I drive my little Tacoma daily and leave big girl tucked away in the garage. It’s the easiest way to keep a nice vehicle, wish I thought of it sooner.

The RAV picture was taken yesterday, November 30th. We had a ice storm this morning, but was salted up nice in about an hour. We had a foot of snow mid-November but that is all gone.

I went through a couple winter beaters when I lived in Indiana, they kept my GTOs off the road and stashed in a barn until late Spring.

Every time I see your truck it looks better and better, might need to do some two piece wheels next time.
