Hi Tundra owners. I guess I should be more concerned about your opinions first. Do you have a problem with not enough cargo carrying capacity with the tundra's.

Yup. Payload is the Achilles Heel of the Tundra. It is the one thing that causes people wanting to haul or tow heavy to ditch the Tundra and get an HD truck. Lots of info in the towing section about it.

Hey T-Rex. I have a product that I invented that is 1/2 ton specific and can increase cargo capacity up to 1600 pounds over OEM. I am just looking to spread the news and help owners out. Sorry but I'm a ford man but only like the F150 for the comfort and I can carry 3200 pounds now.

If you can increase the payload capacity by 1600lbs, which tundras don't even have to begin with. You'll be a damn millionaire. Did you invent a new frame, brakes, axles, suspension, etc AND get it legally DOT approved for more payload? If so I'll be your first customer!

What is this cargo capacity you refer to? :monocle:
If it moves forward, eventually stops and the leaf springs don't snap then you know you haven't reached capacity...

As @Sumo91 said, payload is way more than just how much weight it can hold without sagging. Payload takes into account braking ability, handling, engine and transmission cooling, and also safety aspects.

You're telling me you've had your product certified and crash tested? Love to see the NHSTA ratings on your product. If it hasn't been recertified by the proper engineers and officicial departments, then you haven't increased your payload capacity.

So it's a Trailer Toad.... That doesn't increase payload. It lets you haul a larger trailer by taking the hitch weight, but your payload doesn't increase. You still can't put 2000 pounds of gravel in the bed of the truck. You need to work on your marketing.
