Any opinions on the possibility of 1JZ swapping my 06 tundra. I’ve thought about it for a while and have seen videos of people putting a 2j in an 04 single cab but the tundra isn’t a mod popular chassis. Thoughts??

shouldnt be hard to get the engine and trans to fit.. hell you can keep 4wd if you wanted.
the hard part is the wiring. engine bay is plenty large enough for a straight 6

It’s one of the possible engines for the spare chassis

I've seen a guy put a Supra man trans in a V8 first gen Tundra, I'm sure if our motor and that rltrans could be mated the same is possible for a 2j and our trans.

Isn't this the generation of 4runner with the 2uz option? There's also an older model blue 4runner with a 2j in it. 4wd and 44s.

    But I'm with @because_wumbo-truck, you won't.

I saw a video of one in a taco and it was pretty awesome. Have you seen that 3.4L 4runner that's supercharged and turbocharged?
