I recently traded my 2022 Double Cab SR5 6.5 bed for a 2025 Limited Crew Cab 5.5 TRD offroad. I have a membership at a local car wash and the turn in to the wash is extremely tight. It is a 180 degree loop, single lane, with 10" curbs on both sides. Whoever designed it is an ass. With my double cab, i could cheat to the right as i entered the turn and then complete the turn and be aligned with the entry into the wash. It had the TRD 3" lift with 35" tires and with full lock and slight tire rub on the sway bar I could get around no problem. With my 2025, no lift, stock TRD tires, I have to back up and realign at the end of the turn. That's with the wheel all the way over the entire turn squeaking off the end stops.

I would have expected the 2025 to have at least as good a turn radius as the 2022. From what i've read, the wheel base for the two is identical. Maybe the geometry of the 3" lift helps with turn angle by changing the caster a bit? Who knows.
