I am going to have to install a new radiator and a Tyco brand from Rock Auto is all I could find in stock. Does anyone have any experience with these or the brand? I really want a Denso so I might have to try and haggle with Sparks but they wanted @ $300 for just the shipping.

Is yours repairable? I had a small hole in mine and I got it fixed for like 40 bucks. Been holding for 2 years now.

Nope, I broke off the return / overflow nipple and it is one plastic piece at the top. I tried doing a tube insert with some JB weld and it still leaks.

You should be able to get a denso from any auto parts place, but I'd go factory simply for the fact that it's gonna be in there 20 years from now. Don't skimp on cooling

I thought the factory is a denso?

I called my local Toyota parts dept and there are 300 of them backordered and not one available nationwide. I cannot find a Denso in stock anywhere either.

Have quite a bit of experience with Tyco! Drove the Fast Traxx many times over at a friend's house and always wanted one. It revolutionized RC cars for sure. Never got to drive the Tyco Rebound but heard through the grapevine at Fiske elementary that it was a decent product. Had the Tyco Typhoon hovercraft and while it overall was a good product, it had two shortcomings: 1) the rubber skirt ripped pretty easily and 2) the run time on it was so short because the 3 fans drained the battery so quickly. Solve those two problems and its be a 10/10 for sure.
