    Hi all,

Long time lurker, first post - QQ

I have a 2015 SR5 OR that has a torn UCA ball joint grease cover. Was going to replace them with new UCAs but was just wondering if anyone had ever just replaced their UCA ball joint. I see them in stock for our trucks but I haven't seen a thread here or on google for the UCA, only the LCA.

Is this something anyone has done?

Moog sells some good ones. https://www.moog-suspension-parts.com/moog-k500018

Can be done, most people end up swapping the UCA due to time and performance etc. Just did a ball joint on another tundra and it was quite a bish but got it done with the right tools.

P.S. I have a stock set of UCAs with Ball Joints in them, about 10k miles on them. I'd sell em if you need them. LMK.

    Welcome.
Not an easy replacement without the right tools... AFAIK you need at least a ball joint press. They're not that expensive and I also hear you can rent them.
However, by the time the ball joint needs replacement then it might be far better to get an entire assembly, new bushings and all.

Thanks for the replies! I have an UCA on order now, but if that one fails anytime soon, I will try to press on in.
