I’ve recently installed jba upper control arms and the inside fitment is too tight. It’s requiring a pry bar to spread the arms to install. I called them and they said it’s normal for tundras to have different sized bolt tubes. They said I need to just grind the tubes until they fit. Has anyone come across this probably with other companies of does jba just have a design problem?

Sounds like BS, you shouldnt hve to grind them to fit, you should also have space to fit washers and bushings.

I've has three sets of JBA's and never had an issue installing them. The last set on my Tundra I had to line them up just right to get them on, it was a little tight but they fit and worked fine. If they are in, I would just grease them up and not worry.

The passenger side on mine was kind of a pain to line up and get that bolt in. I had my son use an aluminum bat to pry the rearward bushing up just enough to line it up correctly and tap that bolt through (it wouldn't slide in like the driver side). Either way, both sides were the right size and didn't need to be pried apart. There was still enough of a gap to easily fit when I test fit them, even with the washers on.
