Has anyone by chance found an empty acc 12v power spot in the fuse box under the hood?

Check out my build thread. I mapped an empty fuse location that is ignition hot and always hot.

The red fuse location is empty and is tied to the ignition. This is the location I've run a fuse tap to for my Trigger Six Shooter. Pretty much all other locations are always hot.

I'm trying to do the same thing. I just got my marker lights delivered today. Let me know which fuse you eventually go with and how it work out for you. Thanks in advance.

That won’t be hard at all. There’s only like 2 or 3 blank fuse slots that aren’t constant hot. I actually got a little worried I wasn’t going to find one that wasn’t constant while running my test light from slot to slot. Lol

For someone(me) who knows nothing about electrical,
I'll be hooking up my marker lights to the empty fuse location you highlighted in red. Is a 5amp fuse sufficient for the 3 marker lights? Or should I go 10 like you did? Thanks!

For those, I'm sure a 5 amp would be fine. Those 3 marker lights are LEDs and probably have a tiny amount of amp draw.

Is this for a 2022+ or the 2021 you are listed as having? I am trying to figure out the same thing as the original question..... Which fuses under the hood are powered by ACC? Thank you!

That was for the 22 I had before I traded it in and went back to a 21. My build thread for my old 22 is still up: Duster's Double Cab Build - The Daily Do-it-All.

If you have a test light, it's an easy thing to find since both of the under hood fuse boxes are easy to access.

Thank you! This is going to help out TONS! One question though..... why did you go back? I absolutely LOVE this new truck! Aftermarket parts are only now becoming more widely available, but other than that, there isn't much I would change about it!
