I'm currently designing a lock box for under my rear seat. I have it about 90% done, just finishing the lids for the top and lower compartment, as well as trying to figure out power.

It is going to have a few usb plugs for charging lights, jump packs etc. as well as possibly an inverter for 110v (seeing as how mine doesn't have one factory.)

Any ways i downloaded the electric wiring diagram and locations PDFs from RainMan on here but cant find what this block of grounds and connectors powers. The large red wire is switched 12v. But im not sure what is is powering, and if it could power a small inverter, or if I just need to run a larger wire from the battery to a fuse block of my own.

This is a whole new unit. There isn't really a way to incorporate just a lid due to the design of the frame for the storage area and the location of the seat belts.

That would be cool to add the power outlets and lights. That one plug you were talking about looks like it may be part of the trailer wiring. It has the red and blue wires in it. The red should be powered from the brake light switch and the blue wire is going to come from the brake controller to send to the trailer brakes. Check the heavy gage black wire and see if that is constant power. I have not checked those wires, but it actually looks like the plug for the previous gen brake controller.
