Underhood Lighting Mod

Here is a step-by step process for installing under-hood lighting for those who may be interested:

I forgot all about continuing to look. I got sidetracked trying to figure out a damn window change project. Looks like I'll have to spend more to get it done.

 

Another alternative is using a LED strip with a hood pin.

This is method/concept I used.

The LED strip adhered to the hood along the body line, wire run to the hood pin switch, and power drawn from the battery directly.

On/Off activated from hood pin.
