Has anyone unplugged the AVS shocks or swapped them out and just left the plug undone ?

Wondering if it will cause problems switching through drive modes affecting the transmission modes or if it will only affect the what the shocks would have done.

King shock told me I can swap them out and just leave it unplugged. So I wonder if it would do anything bad or just cause an alarm

I talked to a few people online who have done it and they've all said yes, you can swap out and just leave the plug. The mode changes will still work. One of the guys I talked with is an installer and he's done several Tundras without issue. I'm looking to do the same.

@TheOGlex Thanks for the info. Did they happen to say if there were any codes or lights that pop up and stay on your screen or dash when removing them ?

That is what I have. You can't remove the air. But you can remove the AVS shocks

If you decide to replace the air bags with coils, you will throw codes. I know with Lexus airbags, you had to remove a fuse under the dash and a relay under the hood so you wouldn't get any codes. I'm sure the Tundra is similar.

When I unplugged mine I put some dielectric grease in there just to block moisture. No codes.

I removed the sensor but it was spliced into another wiring of some sort. Had to remove like 4 brackets and those wires led to back of my rotor. Anyway, got it done, it wasn't simple as disconnecting a simple connector above on my platinum, should have taken pics with it all apart but the stupid thing got to me!

24 platinum with avs and rear air bags for load leveling.
Stock rear level adjustment on the lever, might raise it a little bit later..

    1" cornfed lift front only

    22 1/4 inches front
    22 1/2 inches back
