Machined out of delrin to hold change and my surefire defender, 3m double sided tape keeps her solid and everything is accessible as needed. I love being a machinist.

Mine does, seems more like a card holder.

Really nice, I would have loved to learn that trade.

    Nice work!

Being a machinist you should look into making up some semi flush method wheel cap replacements.... market demand is high!

What spot are you referring to? Coin holder or the really inconvenient cup holder?

Great use of that little tray, OP.

I have to defend the forward cup holder under the dash... perfect for a 12oz can in a yeti can cooler. The blinged-out chrome cup holders don’t quite accept a yeti rambler.

it gets pretty hot in the summer but not so hot you can't shift.... if it were a stick shift that may be a different problem. I machined the insert for shell casing and threaded it M8 so it would screw down like the factory one.
The little cup holder way up front has a 3D printed insert in it that holds pens, chapstick, toothpicks , and a small flashlight

What do you need a change holder in the truck for? Never needed coins for anything while driving.

In south Louisiana we typically have public pay boat launches that have a machine that gives you a parking permit for a couple of bucks to keep landings up. Nominal fee, but most of the machines never take dollar bills so quarters in your truck come in handy. The ticket is quite a bit more expensive for not having the pass on your dash.

Also, if you need to stop at a carwash on the way home to clean out the boat, then quarters are in hand.
