Decided to upgrade my tires from stock to a set of Nitto's. After searching online for images of the Recon Grappler on a Tundra I couldn't find much. Since I have had Terra Grapplers in the past on another truck I decided to pull the trigger on a different set this time and chose the Recon Grapplers instead of the Ridge Grapplers. Driving home from Discount Tire I was impressed with how quiet they were and the fact that I didn't notice any power loss like I did with the larger 65 series BFG K02's I had on my F-150 a few years ago. I like the shoulder and tread pattern and the fact the Recon Grappler has 2 outside shoulder choices to go with like the Ridge Grappler. I decided to go with 295/55/20 as they gave me the width and height I was looking for. I have attached the photos I grabbed today before sundown. I look forward to getting the truck cleaned up nicely. For anyone due for tires the new Recon Grapplers are a nice option.

Those look nice, are you on stock suspension with that size tire? Any rubbing?

They look good. I’m running the Tera grappler on my Tacoma and love them, they aren’t the best Offroad, Ice, mud tire for but great for my needs street, rain and dirt.

Thanks! I have 1.25 wheel spacers all around with stock suspension. I noticed a very slight rub at full lock on the back corner of the mud flaps. I may remove the mud flaps, however if I end up adding a leveling kit it will likely resolve it. Really enjoying the difference it makes in the trucks looks.

Looking at these in a 35x11.50 since they just released new sizes. Looks great by the way.

Those look great, I hope you're happy with them. I think I've worn out my ridge grapplers and was considering these as well... Does anybody want to weigh in on a source??? I paid $315 per tire last time and cant find any for less than $426 now. Any ideas or just shut up and pay more?

Nice meats! I knew 285/55 works on a stock suspension, but didn’t realize you could do 295...looks great.
