Upper Control Arms?

Any suggestions for good adjustable Upper Control Arms, that don't require much maintenance. Not going to be taking my truck off-road ever. I tow I have a 100-200 pound payload rarely once a month. Just want the ride to be as smooth as possible. Do you think BDS UCA's will do it for me heard they don't help the caster too much? Just want to get good alignment. Ordered a BDS 7" lift, going to set Coilover to 6" lift only might or might not have forgotten about the UCA's. It's a 2019

 

Spc, JBA, Total Chaos to name a few.

 

If you want actual adjust ability you'll want to go with SPCs, JBA and TC arent adjustable but are great options but the SPC is the lower maintenance being a closed system.

 

I vote Total Chaos.

 

Have SPCs They do need maintain , grease on top , but very easy install and adjusted with yard stick and tape , before driving 15 miles to align , and was almost perfect.

 

I think you should be able to get a good alignment without it. It's a drop down kit, so you should be already there..

 

I wouldn't be buying a BDS then. I have a 6 inch Procomp using the factory UCA and have a good alignment.

 

Isn't it more expensive to go Procomp and then go buy fox coil-overs. I'm running Zero Offset tires will stick out 2" going with an icon rxt leaf pack. I'm just going to buy the BDS UCA's. Not going with really aggressive tires either. Lot's of people praise the BDS too. I've also seen a lot of people criticize the Pro Comp too.

 

I'm really confused now I can get the 6" pro comp stage II for $2,634.29 and the BDS for 5 grand

 

You know what it's cheaper to go this route, probably going to get the Pro Comp Stage II, Icon Rxt Pack to replace block and ADD-A-LEAF, coachbuilder steering kit, and these: SPC UCA's. Will I need Carrier Bearing Drop Kit and Poluthrane bushings? I'll get some fuel forged wheels with the savings

 

Sorry to be so blunt here, but don’t spend 5k on a 6 or 7 inch lift unless you like throwing away your money..

Pro Comp uses shims, coachbuilder gives these spacers instead to eliminate driveline vibration. Pro Comp says that extra shims might be needed to eliminate driveline vibration so, I'm going with the coachbuilder carrier bearing drop kit. Just not sure where I can get or if I need poly bushings or any other upgrades for better ride.

About spending 5k on the BDS, I'm really thankful I can spend that type of money on my truck without any worries, BUT I really appreciate the input guys.
With those savings, I can buy these fuels without getting yelled at by the "boss"

 

It says 3-5" of lift, and the Pro Comp It comes with shims. I'll be good either way. Let' see what the mechanic says!

 

Not sure what you mean by I'll wind up needing more. Do you mean more spacing? It's 4" lift in the rear

 

Maybe it's a big boy lift problem

 

Hopefully, everything is more stable, with that 14" lift your truck must be a REALLY HUGE B****.

 

You'll definitely need to play around with the carrier bearing spacer. Here's mine on final adjustment to get rid of the take off shudder.

Not if he drives over you . 1 and a half-foot lift GODDAMMIT, a 6" lift must be minuscule compared to yours.

 

I would do it myself but I rarely have free time, today is one of those rare days.
