    Hello,

I have a 2008 Tundra. I tried to start it this morning with my autostart remote. It triggered the alarm and did not start. My battery in the remote was very low. I shut the alarm off, however I am unable to unlock the doors with the command start nor the key. There is a constant ticking noise and part of the turn signals on the mirrors are flashing.

I tried to take it out of valet mode by pressing the trunk button and lock at the same time but it did not work. After some time now my signals are no longer flashing but there is still a constant ticking noise. Not sure what to do. Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank you
    Mike

Valet mode can be accessed through your head unit as well. Have you tried?

Valet mode? I have not heard of this and can not find it in the manual. And what is the trunk button?

Id disconnect the battery for 10 min and reset everything and see where you land. And change battery in the remote. Speaking of, how old is your current truck battery? Tundras do funky stuff when the battery starts going out, it could be dying. They typically last 3-4 years.
