Valve Cover, Timing Cover Gasket Guide

    Since it drives me crazy when I search through old posts and none of the image files are viewable, I created my 'gasket guide' in the form of a pdf that is attached to this post.

    The intention of attached write-up and pictures is to help folks with identifying all the gaskets, seals, o-rings that are needed when removing/replacing valve covers and timing cover. Whether these are being removed to fix oil leaks associated with valve cover gasket, cam tower seal, timing cover seal, or if you need to replace timing chain or camshaft parts, hopefully the attached guide is helpful...

    With that said, I (& probably most) wished it was for a 5.7L. :(
