Does anyone have any idea if I was to replace these if my 5.7 liter I force motor will return from the 12 valve cummins concert it sings after sitting for a few days.

A sensible approach would be to try changing to another motor oil for noise relief before tearing down the front of your engine and possibly mucking something up. That approach is too much work for me to contemplate, and the likelihood of it making any difference is low imo. Consensus here is that Toyota engines just "tick" once they are worn in, you have to learn to love it.

You posted to this thread: https://www.tundras.com/threads/2018-5-7-ticking.54394/. Early posts in the thread actually indicated success by changing from Mobil 1 Advanced Fuel Economy (AFE) 0W-20 to other motor oils silences the noise. I would try Mobil 1 Extended Performance 0W-20 first (different additive package). If that doesn't work, try Rotella Gas Truck motor oil in 0W-20. If the ticking still bothers you, and nothing else has worked, try Mobil 1 (or Rotella) in 5W-20 or 5W-30.

Run Mobil 1 0 20 from toyota or toyota oil i let them do it. I also add 1 quart of Lucas to every oil change. Still sounds like a 12 valve. Fig vvt silenoid would be easy since they are on top of the valve covers.

Oh...I thought you were talking about the main chain tensioner being installed in the link below beginning about 05:15: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaDWBwmtVEE

Everything on the front of the engine comes off for that one. Good luck.

Ya I'm not diving into that. At least I hope not.
