    Hello all,

I bought a new 2019 Tundra TSS a couple months ago (8/30/19) and have had a steering wheel vibration after 65-70+ mph. I have been back to the dealer several times, opened a ticket with Toyota, and had wheels/tiers replaced. I have the black 18" wheels with Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac tires. It feels like they just can't get them balanced and suspect the tires are garbage. I asked them if they would try putting Michelins on but they didn't seem interested in doing that... Anyone else have a similar issue with this wheel/tire package?

    Welcome from NY.
Hopefully they will find and fix the problem.

I wouldn't expect anything smooth from an aggressive tread pattern.

had it on brand new ‘18 with BFG KO2’s, back to dealer to have it balanced 3-4 times and it always came back. Was told by a few places that They run into that on Toyota quite often. I switched to Continental all terrains and it seems to have fixed for the most part, but seems to be slowly returning as I rack up more miles.

you are not the first person to post a thread like this. I read several threads, many on brand new trucks like yours after I had my issue.

Bummer, yeah, I feel like Michelins, Continentals, or similar would help a lot. I've had some issues with Goodyear truck tires in the past. I have a buddy with a 2018 Tundra TSS with the other alloys (non black) and his rides smooth with all terrains. I thought it may be the wheels but they replaced those as well, it rode smooth for a day or two, then steadily back to how it was.

Update - Received a call from dealer this morning. They said the rear axles have a known issue and are causing this. They will be here mid week and replaced by Friday. I'll update at that time.
