Hello! I’ve seen a few people with Vijay rear bumpers and everyone seemed happy, so I pulled the trigger and got my own. The instructions say to remove 3 of the 16mm bolts and to bolt it there. Has anyone else done the install or have any tips?

I just checked out their website. I don't even see a first gen option but maybe I'm blind???

edit: looks like their actual website doesn't offer a first gen option, but their Amazon site does?

I just looked on their eBay posting and it showed that it fit. I now a couple local guys that have them on their first gen and they said it was easy enough I just forgot to ask. The instructions they sent aren't the best.... They show a 2nd gen on the instructions, but the bumper and brackets they sent match up with my bolts underneath.

From here on out, it will only be referenced as the VIJAYJAY
It says 80.5 pounds on their description.

Curious what needs to be done/spliced to get functionality of the lights? Tap into reverse lights? Dedicated switch? I suppose one could do both? @PsyGuy please update when you install. Thanks!

Im not sure how bright the LED’s are. My plan was to splice one pair into the reverse wiring and the other to a dedicated switch.

I won’t have an update until the end of the week. I am heavily lubricating the bolts as prep with penetrating oil due to my history of snapping bolts :fingerscrossed:

I should have news by the end of the week. I’m taking pictures as well to note my progress.
