Been trying to find any info or threads on using vinyl wraps on rims. Seems to be an alternative to buying all new rims but was told that applying the overlays is very difficult.

Anyone done this or are there any threads on this?

    Thanks!

Did this on my 18 TRD offroad rims. Didnt remove tires or wheels from truck. Not difficult, but meticulous. I used rapid tac when setting the vinyl and cleaned up the edges with a heat gun after a few hours. Like anything else the last wheel I did looked better than the first but it takes a keen eye to notice that it's a wrap. Before and after...
