Kinda just wanted to post this for reference/searching if someone else has this issue.

Pulled into the gas station and when braking, had these 3 lights come on, plus my ABS was kicking on every time I braked, no matter how hard or soft. Looked it up on here and found out it’s due to a bad (or failing) ABS wheel speed sensor. Dunno which one though. But basically if those lights pop off, the ECU get super confused cause it’s seeing a bad input from a wheel speed sensor. This can also be accompanied by issues with your speedo (mine was not, but it’s possible).

Stopped at the auto parts store and they want $180-200 per corner for that sensor. Checked on www.rockauto.com and you can get them for $88 per corner. Ordering mine now!

Anyone have any other info feel free to post up!

Personally I'd start by checking tire pressures and verifying they are good. From there I'd check that all the sensors are attached and look like they're in good shape and not gunked up. From there trace wires back and make sure there's no knicks in them. Front and rear are fairly exposed and easy to check for the most part.

If that is all good my understanding is you look/test wiring for conductivity to diagnose it ***correct me someone if I'm wrong***

I've also heard that dealerships have a reader or a way of reading where the bad signal is and will figure out which corner has failed.

    Hope this helps

Soon as I filled up with gas and restarted, the lights were off and brakes back to normal lol. Not sure if the dealer can see where the fault was from when there are no lights on.

That right there pretty well tells you that it's not a FAILED sensor. Could be a connection/wiring issue (most likely), or a failing sensor (unlikely). So do a check of the system and see if there's anything obvious....

It may have thrown a code, any Toyota scanner will tell you if there's one there but most likely not.

Speaking of obvious, you are running 4 of the exact same tires correct?

Sometimes metal shavings get stuck between sensors and the abs gear rings.
I would go home take sensors out and clean it first with some brake cleaner.

Yup, all 4 tires the same. I’ll check the ABS plugs, make sure they’re all connected well.

In the last week I did have the brake light come on twice for “no apparent” reason. Nothing changed, operationally, wasn’t the brake pedal (pushed it down and the warning chime came on, went back off when I took it off but the light stayed on), and the fluid was full.
