Vsc off and trac control only lights on, help please- NO Check Engine light however

I have a 2008 Tundra 5.7L 2wd. I have a flashing: "VSC OFF" light & the "Traction Control" light ( staying on while driving for about 6 months now. Thankfully, NO Check engine light ,happening. Any idea how I can get these lights off while driving and get Traction control back??-- Thank you again for your help.

 

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! One thing you can try is to disconnect your battery for 15 minutes and then reconnect it. That may reset the ECU and the nannies. For better answers, try the Ask the Toyota Mechanic thread:

Abs light on? Might be a speed sensor/abs sensor issue.

 

Already disconnected battery numerous times for long periods of time and no luck fixing it. No other lights are on the dash other than a low tire pressure light which I attribute to a bad expensive tmps sensor. -very strange. Any other thoughts anybody? thanks

 

Try the link I posted above. The guys in that thread are a mix of retired Toyota mechs and other knowledgeable folks.

 

Probably wants a zero point calibration. Need a slighly more advanced obd2 reader to read ABS codes. This way you can clear it, I don't think disconnecting the battery will work.

 

Have a mechanic check your ABS Control Module.
