    Hello everyone,

I am in the market for a 1st gen tundra.. Seems like market is all over the place and most used are listed WELL above KBB so trying to determine what is an actual fair price and what to look for when buying used with high miles. I'm in SoCal. Looking for a 4x4, preferably a double cab or access cab or whatever they are called on the Tundra. Many have high miles which isn't unexpected, but I'm not sure at what point there are "too many" miles.

For example, there is a nice looking 4x4 for about 9k, but it has 265k miles. Price seems good, but not sure it would be a wise decision. Anyways, I appreciate any insight here.

I currently drive a 2017 4x4 tundra with 49k miles. My plan is to eventually sell it, get the first gen which will be more of just a work truck/fun truck, and get a commuter car (I drive 100 miles round trip so the 15mpg at $5 gallon is painful).

    Thanks again

Also, I wouldn't flinch at one of these trucks upwards of 450K miles. Wouldn't bother me at all, but I'm a little crazier than most here.

Basically, the majority of the coolant loop on my white truck was 100% clogged when I got it. I didn't know that until after it was home.
