I've found a couple of videos on YouTube, but nothing great.

I really couldn't find anything instructional on this website, but I'm not sure I knew where to look.

How hard is this to do on our trucks. The videos I did find made it look pretty straight forward, but it is never as easy as it looks in the videos.

I was thinking of going with the JBA control arms. I like the fact that they can be lubricated.

    Thanks.

I’ve installed 3 sets of JBA arms on trucks and I’ll say they’ve all been an easy install and all have had great alignments after.

You’ll have to move some harnesses out of your way some just to maneuver the pivot bolt. It’s a little bit of a pain to get in there to torque the bolt but it can be done.

I removed both last summer. Fairly easy other than a little bit of a pain getting access to the PS thru bolt. I had to remove them (Rough Country) to replace the upper joint. Also learned that the ball joint was specific to Rough Country.
As mentioned, make sure to torque the nut as the one on the PS came loose causing the bolt to slide out a few weeks after I replaced the ball joint. Destroyed the new ball joint in the process. Luckily, it happened just down the country back road from my place while my daughter was driving. Was able to do a roadside repair and get the bolt back in place, but of course the nut was long gone.

Been a while since I did mine, but don't remember it being too difficult driveway job.
