So my oil changes are about done
    With the dealer.
I want to start performing my own oil service and diff fluids. Will this void the warranty? I set up my truck on toyota owners website, that site has all the service records on there and there is a part where you can add your own records. Have you taken your truck for warranty past the 12 months 36k and been hassled about the service records.

Doing your own service will not void your warranty.

Ive heard that before. I’ve also heard of dealers asking for service receipts or proof of maintenance performed. I’m going to keep the receipt of oil and filters in any case. I just like to keep records. Amsoil from now on.

So...When you do oil changes, enter the details (mileage, filter, quarts etc.) in the "Owners Section" as you said. The site will let you enter oil changes, and that's really about all you need to document anyway. A dealer can not deny your warranty just because you do your own oil changes.
