I searched the forum but couldn't find info about the fog lights.

I have the 2018 OEM LED Fog Lights on my Tundra. They were installed when I bought the truck. One of them has about a centimeter of water behind the lens. There's writing on the lens that is upside down as if the light is upside down. I also think that when I turn the fog lights on, they seem to illuminate higher than the low beams....if I'm approaching a speed limit sign and turn on the fogs, the sign reflects more light than just with the low beams.

I haven't had the time/opportunity get into the bumper and poke around, but is it possible to install these lights upside down? Essentially reversing the left and right light during install? Also, is it common to have water collecting in the light housing? I have seen lights have moisture in them before, but not have standing water in there.

Thanks, that does help. At 3:32 in that video I can see the writing is along the bottom on the lens, where on mine it's at the top and upside down. Since there's just that one phillips screw holding it in it seems possible they are in upside down, and would explain water not through a hole or outlet in the bottom. I'll have to check it out later today.

That was exactly the problem. Big “R” and “L” on the lights and they were installed on the wrong side which made them upside down. Need to figure out how to drain water from the light now.

Edit: There's a sticker on the back that can be removed revealing a hole into the light cavity. Air and water also go into through the plug. It seems like water was running down the power cable and into the fog light housing. Not sure how water got or is getting into the power cable (it's inside the plastic sheath, not running along the outside). Hope fully that was a one time thing. I tried using a blow dryer to blow hot air through the holes of the fog lights and it dried it up some but not fully. I reinstalled everything and will monitor. I'm hoping that come summer that the heat plus sunlight heating up the inside of the fog light housing will evaporate the rest of the water. I'm surprised the light still works with all the water that was in there....a testament to Toyota quality.
