Water ??? seeping from muffler?

    i am guessing this is nothing to worry about but should be glad they added a seep hole for water to drain out of the mufflers. this was after sitting all night outside and high moisture content air (high chance of rain today)

    Yeah, condensation dripping from exhaust is nothing new and nothing to worry about, hence the seep port. Moving on

    I was just wondering cause there was a fairly large puddle under the truck. Good 1 foot in diameter

    I've seen condensation pretty much gush from tailpipes on vehicles that aren't driven enough to warm up and evaporate all the moisture from the exhaust.

    Happens too on my Ford. I am honestly surprised manufacturers are doing a low tech solution for this and not installing an electric fan in the muffler run by a separate computer and sensors and working off an actuator valve that lasts 36001 miles and disables the whole truck when it malfunctions.

    well i dont see them putting a electric motor in a location that has that much heat flowing thru it all the time. unless you want a wear/tear item dying every few years or sooner.
