What cologne are you wearing?

After many years of swimming in bilges i have made it to where I can enjoy my men's colognes
Recently I acquired a 100ml bottle of Tom Ford Ebene Fume'. it was a long hard find but I did and it will be my fall winter scent. What about you? Are you brand loyal or like me just get what you like? Do you wear year-round are just on special occasion or certain seasons.

I think Creed is overpriced and two to three bottles at $600 a piece is hard to justify to the wife these days but I do like the Aventus. I think Jean Pual Gaultier is the best and his EDP's just do everything for me. Any JPG fans here?

 

Usually I wear spilled beer and whatever cheap deodorant I pick up at the grocery store.

 

A mixture of Drakkar Noir, Brut, & Old Spice makes a hell of an aromatic combo.

By "bottles", do you mean 55 gal drums?
What on earth could possibly cause a frikkin bottle of perfume to cost $600?
Are they extracting anal gland juice from the only living unicorn in captivity?
Is a dab under each ear guaranteed to get you laid, no matter how fugly you are?

It depends on the day. It varies between Hoppe's #9, Ballistol, and Kroil. Sometimes it's a combination of two or three.

My guy my cologne spending is not about budget. It’s about the fact that not all creeds are worth it to me. My money, my life.
I posted this to see if there were others with similar interest but found that many of you have comedic talents that you should probably pursue. You like what you like and I as well.

There’s lady with the alabaster box was ridiculed as well so I guess I’m in good company.

Lastly, I don’t wear cologne for my wife or anyone other than myself. It’s what I find pleasure in. If you’re wearing cologne for others that’s fine.

The whole point of fragrances is to mimick pheromones and trigger a response from the opposite sex. The most effective way to go about it is to find one that works with your body chemistry and gets the best response.
If you just like to wear it for yourself and enjoy your own smell all day, to each their own. Everyone is into different stuff.
I usually have a bad reaction to strong perfumes. They immediately irritate my nose/throat, make me nauseous, etc. Especially when it's that old lady perfume crap that women take a shower in and you walk through a cloud of it when they pass by.
I found a low key cologne that I can afford, doesn't bother my nose and the wife says smells good on me. So, if I put some on and turn the lights low she's able to pretend she loves me.
I try not to tell her what smells good or bad on her. They get very insecure and defensive when you give them your opinion. Because they wear what they think they look good in and what they think smells good.

If I wore cologne just for my own pleasure, it would smell like bratwurst and sauerkraut.
Or freshly disturbed soil and pine needles.
Maybe a combo of all that?

 

Has anyone else noticed that every other commercial lately seems to be a cologne or perfume advertisement?!?! I had no idea that many people still wore eau de toilet!!!!

WHY am I just now learning this? This explains SO much! All these years I've been wearing a mix of beer, bbq smoke, oil, transmission fluid, antifreeze, gas, PB blaster, and WD40. I've wondered nearly all my life why dudes always follow me around sniffing, snorting, and making pervy comments while the women folk just run the opposite direction. Now I know!
