What Fuse is the headlight Fuse?

I just picked up and installed a YotaLED kit and they suggest hooking the piggy back fuse into the INJ slot, but I don’t like the grill LEDs on constantly. I looked on the fuse box cover and couldn’t figure out which fuse was the Headlight fuse. Also searched the forum and haven’t had any luck. If anyone has wired their LEDs to the headlight fuse and can point out which slot it is I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you in advance!

 

I would assume you have RH/RL/LH/LL fuses. Those are your headlights L is low beam H is high beam.

But, instead of adding a fuse to the headlights, I'd use the add a fuse on the towing tail circuit.

Also, make sure you check which side of the circuit has power and which side is load. The side of the add a fuse with the wire goes on the load side of the circuit.

 

Also check tail light fuse. Activates when parking lights are activated before headlights. Just another option of function if desired

The headlights on the 2022+ models don't have fuses, they are controlled by the CAN-BUS.

Hey Nick since there’s no fuse cause of Can-Bus config now. Would you know how that affects current draw by chance. I have some BD S2 Sports running in place of my OEM fogs with NP as amp draw is low .9 per and have 2 . However I’m considering adding some BD squadron’s to the circuit by simply adding a splitter where OEM wiring plugs into fog. My concern is total current draw with the 2 added lights. BD squadrons sports only draw 2.1amp each, adding 2 I’m sure it’s fine but being techy I wonder what total amp draw limit on that circuit would be. I’d be at 6 amps. 3 per side IG @mr.tundra2.0

Well, since i was inquiring as I was going to add 2 more lights to my fog light set up. I was curious if I could add some BD squadron sports or stick to the S2’s. Since BD kit puts 4 S2’s on fog circuit and I only currently have 2. I decided to go with 2 S2 SAE’s. I didn’t need more light really just didn’t want empty corner bays in a new bumper. Installing Addictive Desert Designs Stealth Fighter Bumper. I’m Putting in BD 40 inch ONX6+ then the corners will have the 2 new S2 amber SAE’s wired to fog circuit. Makes sense? So in fog bay I have 4 S2’s, 2 clear S2 Pros to a BD switch in dash, 2 S2 clear sports to OEM Fog switch then corner bumper slots 2 S2 SAE’s amber to OEM Fog as well. Install happening in 2-3 weeks. Check it out at IG @mr.tundra2.0. Tell me it’s you. Installed ICON CDEV full suspension as well.

****Not the premium LED headlights****

I just tapped into the green wire on the headlights for my TRD Pro grill swap for the amber grill marker lights.

don’t think you can do this with the Premium LED headlights cause of the CanBus garbage.

Marker lights come on and off when I turn on the lights or DTRL and do NOT stay on all the time like if I fused into the trailer lights fuse.
