What is the hose called, that is usually connected here and where does it connect on the other end?

My best guess is that it is a Positive Crankcase Vent hose and the other end would go to the passenger side valve cover. Have you followed the driver side hose that is its mirror back to see where it goes?

@Wynnded The other hose on the driver side connects to some metal pieces that has other vacuum hoses connected to it. Someone on YouTube said that driver side hose is connected to some vacuum thing-ma-jig that is close to the top right of intake, I forgot what he called it.

I saw in another YouTube video, that the hose I am trying to find name of, and what it connects to on other end, is pretty long, but couldn't see what other end connected to in video.

I wonder why someone removed it, and if it could make the engine run different, or cause damage?

So I've been trying to find something, but I'm not really finding anything definitive. I'm seeing applications where it's capped off like what your seeing:

But I'm also seeing applications where it has a hose connected, but isn't really indicating where it goes:

Based on the second image, I might venture a guess that it may go to where this image suggests is the PCV Hose (on the left side of the image at the air intake):

It's also possible that it's something that's not used in your application, or is something that is just not used due to a possible difference in California vs. Federal emissions requirements on a version of the throttle body from earlier model year vehicles, like an earlier Land Cruiser which has also used the same engine.

If it's running fine, I would think that you're okay to leave it be as is. If it were to be connected to the air intake and isn't, I would think it would set a CEL, unless the speculative "other end" is capped too.

I did learn that the connected hose on the driver's side is likely connected to Vacuum Switching Valve (VSV).

@Wynned Thank you for all the info, and Happy New Year too.

I also noticed a hose that goes from the power steering pump, to the small cube/box shaped plastic that's connected to the air intake, wasn't connected. And where it looks like it's supposed to be connected, has a cap over it too. I was wondering why someone would mess with something that might have some reason/purpose to be connected.

I have had a CEL code for one of the knock sensors, but don't know if those hoses being disconnected, could cause a CEL to come on.

Much of the time those things are for emissions, some times they may serve as a reference for the ECU or a source of vacuum for something like the brake booster. In the case of these item, I honestly don't know exactly what they're for. Some owners consider all the hoses to be unnecessary and superfluous. They remove and cap some of these things under the pretense of all the hoses being unattractive and "cleaning up" the engine bay. It's possible that a previous owner had a different intake tube installed that didn't have provisions for these hoses.

You should be fine getting some appropriately sized hose to replace what's missing.
