I have a 2023 platinum with the stock suspension. I have some 18x9 fuel lethal rims with a 1 inch offset which i took off my 2004 tundra. What’s the largest tire I can get on there without any rubbing?
Tires.com says 285/65/18. Has anyone gone wider and/or taller?

Congrats on your new rig and welcome from MA.
I'm guessing with that offset 295/70 will fit fine with no rubbing. Just for the record there are a shit ton of threads on this particular topic as you will soon learn,so check out the "search " it will help out a lot because this is your first question that you have asked and you will have many more after you get your tires on....

You'll find out soon enough that there is a lot of knowledge and good guys here that have similar interests in moding trucks.

There's been one or two posters on here that have claimed that the hybrid system starts behaving poorly after upsizing the tire diameter past 33 inches. Have you noticed any weird performance issues with you hybrid since the tire swap?

No issues at all. Drives great, steering is more responsive, no real difference in power/acceleration, braking is no different. Now granted, I went with the 4 ply SL rated tire rather than the 10 ply LT rated tire. 99% of my driving is street with some light grated gravel roads thrown in during hunting season. Saved 11 lbs. in tire weight that way.

Sweet, thanks. I'm getting SL-rated 275/65R20's installed next week on my Platinum Hybrid, which is only marginally smaller diameter than a 295/70R18 so just curious if anyone else is experiencing something like the other person had mentioned. Suppose I'll find out soon enough if I notice any differences.

You'll experience a hit to fuel mileage compared to stock sized tires. Otherwise the 275/65R20s should work fine.

Oh yeah, of course I'm fully expecting that. I'm used to the consequences of modifications to vehicles, just not familiar at all with the consequences to the specific hybrid system Toyota implemented in the Tundras.

    I chose the 285 since that e
What the 3 inch lift said was the largest size without rub

oh well. Will size down when replaced

I'm running 285/75/18 (Cooper states 34.84") on my stock suspension with a 18x8.5 +22. It barely rubs the front liner only at full lock. I have not noticed any weird things with the hybrid system.

How do you like the ICON wheels so far? I am looking at getting a set. But do not know enough about the brand to pull the trigger. I am having a hard time deciding on the Rebounds or the Compressions?

I absolutely love them, mine are the Compressions. I think they look great, even my wife said they looked "tough." They also have the exact correct hub size for the new Tundras. They seem durable thus far.

Yeah no issues here at full lock on either position, of course not under a load so I'm hoping it's ok.
The speedo will be off 5 MPH @ 100 MPH so 2.5 @ 50 MPH but other than the gas gage sinking quickly there are no quarks.
    285/55R22 = 34.34"X11.22"
