What is the sticker on the door jamb referring to?

this sticker is on drivers door jamb. Any clue to what it refers too. Thanks

 

That means that something was added to the vehicle weight that would reduce the payload. Examples are heavier floor
mats, a bed mat, rear sway bar, etc. Basically any added accessories that weren't added at the plant.

 

Yup so do not overload your vehicle by 6 pounds or else you will get in trouble.

 

Were winter floor mats included when the truck was purchased? If so, that is likely the 6 lbs difference they are accounting for over the roll off the factory weight.

 

Port and/or dealer installed accessories. Mine included a spray-in bedliner, running boards, and console vault.

 

I wonder how much the sticker weighs and if they took that into account lol.

My 14 had the yellow sticker and had 0kg/0lbs written on it. Even more ridiculous.

 

weird... i never notice that sticker when they're dropping 15,000 lb boulders from front end loader on the commercials lol
