what lens pattern is normally used for rear fog light?

    Anyone know what lens pattern is normally used for red rear fog lights? I am guessing it's flood, but not 100% sure. Any input would be appreciated.

    I think mine is a spot, because that’s the only pattern available in green for a S2

    Thank you for the input, I just think in a foggy condition, a flood would be more visible than spot since it's emitting light into all directions?
    the picture below is what i have in mind, trying to install something similar to this to use in the inclement weather conditions ONLY.

    I’d go for the flood, or wide cornering pattern if it were me. If the weather is souper poopy, make them lights flicker.
