Hey everyone. Proud new owner of a 2014 tundra sr5. Obviously don't want to just leave everything stock but have no idea where to even begin. Ideas?

I have the same truck. TRD sway bar is a nice easy upgrade.

The TRD sway bar can you go into a little about what changes you felt?

Just overall flatter cornering. I primarily use my Tundra to carry a truck camper and thought the sway bar would help - it does but is actually more noticeable with the camper off.

Depends on a two things, what will the truck be used for and how much $$$ you have to spend on it.

Mall Crawler: Grill Insert, BHLM, Plastidip all Chrome, 3" Lift, Wheels, 35" Tires, Exhaust and Performance Programmer.
Towing Rig: Plastidip all Chrome, Sway Bar, Brake Controller, Performance Programmer and equalizer hitch.
Offroad: 3" Lift, 35" Tires, Skid Plates, Rock Sliders, High Clearance Bumper and Winch
Baja Style: Long Travel Suspension Setup, Wheels, Tires, Skids and Prerunner Style Front Bumper.
Baller Style 12" Bulletproof Lift, 22" Wheels, 38" Tires, Performance Programmer and Fuzzy Dice.

    Look here for more ideas.
And here for a big list of things you can do.

Yeah I def like these. Most of what I want will obviously take some time as $$$ don't exactly grow on trees. I do plan on an interior LED lights mod in the near future, will post pictures once that's done.

Some husky or weather tech floor liners will help protect your interior too. Both cover well and are easy to clean.

There's a bunch you could do bro while saving cash for the big mods! Before I bought my Flowmasters I de-badged, blacked out my TRD Steel Wheels from my '12 and threw them on the 14, got rid of the stupid front plate and threw my Astros plate up! And bought a Night Raider Scan/LED bar w/reverse lights. Lol my favorite are those Flowmasters!

Not sure if this has been covered. I'll call it the 'Dog mod'. I'll explain. We have an elderly Husky who can't jump from the ground up into the seat (Double Cab). Its a pain dropping the seat once he's in there. Since our other vehicle is a people-wagon, it occurred to me that I really didn't need more that the 40% jump-seat in the Tundra, so I set about removing the 60% seat. Removing the long seat opened up a cavernous amount of space sufficient for the pooch to stretch out on longer trips. If he wants to get up and look out the window, he can climb up in the remaining jump-seat.

The tricky part was to relocate the sub-woofer to the back wall which required me to fashion a bracket and extend the wiring harness. I still need to put a piece of carpet on the back wall to address the cosmetics.

Let me know if you'd like a more detailed writeup.

Coming from TW.com ,it sounds like pretty much the same mods for the Tacoma are needed for the Tundra..
