I’ve heard gx460 wheels work with the first gen tundra and they look pretty good I just wanted to hear what do you guys think about it and would they actually fit

If you are wanting to stick with a OEM style rim, most 4Runner/Tacoma/FJ cruiser wheels are compatible with first gen’s as long as they have the 6 lug pattern. I just recently installed some TRD pro 17’s on mine and they fit just fine with no issues. Regarding the GX460 rims, they will work but I remember one member on here saying they had to find some Toyota center caps because the Lexus ones would not fit properly.

I only had my starfishes for about a year. Didn’t love them. Didn’t hate them. Didn’t keep them. Sold them to a guy for $75 for the whole set (in 2006 dollars).

find the blue silver metallic rustoleum. Went great with green, goes hard with black, too.

My bitchelins are super healthy. And i'm gentle on brakes. My last set of tires on the titan lasted 100k. Tires and paint are last. Sure i may eventually offer a foot massage, but i'm hoping he can get money for em. I dont need any extra excuse wanting 17's, but i convinced myself if i get 17's, i'm basically gonna have to fit 40's. Hence my need for a solid axle.

put some tall skinny trailer tires on em. Prolly be better in slush. At least the front, like rudders. Or straight up tractor tires with every other lug siped off.

What about using 17's vs 16's for a track system.

Tracks look cool, they suck to drive with though. Kills the turning radius, and the gas mileage. My man didn’t even close the gas door. Knew he’d be right back in there.

Agreed. Here are pics of my two 2004 Tundra double cabs. White has 16” OEM Tacoma wheels and the silver has 17” OEM 4Runner wheels. Both wrapped in BF Goodrich rubber. Perfect fitment and no vibrations or wobbling.
