Just curious what everyone was being told on this topic. Mine will be driven really only on road and maybe some light forest service/gravel roads but nothing where using full suspension would come into play. I have a Tacoma for that.

Anything that may break related to your aftermarket suspension or larger wheels, the dealer could potentially deny you warranty.

yea just think its silly considering a 1.75 leveling kit would break a truck.

Im really more concerned with would they deny a engine issue for a suspension modification? I know its dumb but wouldn't put it past them.

I just purchased a 2023 a few weeks ago. I've seen all of the videos, read all of the opinions, and asked all of the questions related to this topic. Here's the answer: no one really knows. People have opinions and have been told different things from different dealerships. No one really knows.

I have had mine in for routine service and they didn't say anything about my levelling kit. It is going in for recalls and another service this week. Fingers crossed that they get it right!

When I got my truck back, the SA told me that everything was good including the suspension. This is with the RC 1.75 up front and Westcott 1" in the rear. They didn't complain about my skid plates either and they did an oil change.

    Different add to the consensus.

    Keep it stock.

Are you doing it for looks or will you scratch it up and dent it by actually going off road?

How long will you keep it? If you get rid of vehicles every few years, easier to resell later.

Warranty can not be voided unless they can prove the parts caused the failure. Also the Toyota extended warranties cover up to 3".

I'd be more concerned about actually breaking those suspension components offroad than a warranty denial from a leveling kit.

The first line of approving or denying a warranty claim is at the dealer level. If you want an actual answer for you and your truck then do this: Walk over to the service department at the dealership where you bought your truck and ask a tenured SA if the dealership is lift friendly.

If you talk to a seasoned SA, I can guarantee they’ll be transparent with you about how nit-picky or friendly the dealership tends to be with modded trucks.

Also, get the name of that SA and always request him or her whenever you go in for service. Developing a relationship with a particular SA will go a long way to ensuring that you minimize the amount of friction you'll run into down the road.
