    Cheers everyone.

What's your truck carry? Anything from spare lug nuts to zip ties and band-aids lets hear it!

    My personal EDC thus far:
    • Phone Charging Cable/adapter
    • Truck service log
    • 15,000 lb 20 ft tow chain
    • Gobs of tie-downs
    • Spare bottle of ATF
    • Spare Quart of Oil
    • Staple Gun w/Spare staples
    • Tire pressure gauge
    • OEM Jack/Wrench etc
    • Baby soap
    • Wet wipes
    • Pens/sharpie

Future plans include IFAK, Concealed holster, 24" Breaker bar and socket, and maybe a better jack of some sort.

I'm curious to see what everyone has/uses.

    Thanks!

Not telling and it's all hidden out of sight. There's a reason why trucks are targeted for smash and grabs. Plenty of advertising, especially trucks that are loaded up with stickers.

Oh those are my favorite. Glock sticker, rockford fosgate sticker, anything that has to do with hunting sticker, ect. Then you get inside and its one thing after another. Molle gear on the back of the seat, knife in the console, holster attached to the side of the kick panel. All just a sign saying hey come rob me and by the way if I'm in my truck when you do it don't worry because I don't even keep my gun on me so you can take that too lol.

You sir have the right idea. have nothing to identify you over others, and keep what you have hidden and or to yourself.

Having a Snugtop with tinted windows helps, the box most of this stuff is in dark grey and lashed against the front of the bed and very hard to see. The rest fits up front, glowsticks, lights, smaller tools, and quite a bit under the rear seats including one of the fire extinguishers and the breakerbar. Maybe I should start backing into the driveway and up against the garage door to make it hard to get in the back...

Both pocket carry and firearm. One in my pocket two in my truck and on every firearm I would need.

May as well just buy a purse to carry in if you aren’t going to have it on your person. That being said... if I’m sitting in my truck and I have a scenario where I need to draw, it’s not going to happen from the holster tucked into my belt next to the seat belt buckle and partially under a fold of a beer belly.

Then you should practice more. Or carry in a better position if you have issues getting it. I assure you I’m drawing from my hip with seatbelt on faster than you are from silly magnet or holster attached to your vehicle. Also when your yanked out of your vehicle by surprise and now don’t have your weapon that’s a problem

I’m not saying I’m right or wrong just trying to educate on why being on person is better in almost every situation. Years of training and scenarios tells me that keeping on person is always the best answer. Do what makes you comfortable but never be closed to more training. I am always learning and adapting to different situations and love finding new ways or being taught new ways of doing something. But I will never remove my weapon from my person in my vehicle. I do encourage anyone to give me a scenario where they think its better off the person in a vehicle and I will try it.

I love these guys too. Huge "rob me" sign. Another thing that happens is people rob their homes and steal their firearms as well. Can't defend your house if you're not home.

All of my gear in my truck is inexpensive and hidden.

I personally carry a flashlight and knife on my person anywhere i go. I carry an Olight S2 Baton. 1000 Lumen but still fits in your pocket easily, i use it all the time from little things to lighting up the woods.

I always immediately lock my doors as soon as I’m in my truck, and with training, any carry position can work.
