Can someone in this forum DM me a code for this wheel lock? Pretty certain it is McGard. Or how about going to find what it is without having the code? I bought CPO (11 months ago) and realized I don't have the key or the code.... It is a 2022 Sequoia Sport.

If those were bought at Toyota, go to the parts department. They have like 5 different master keys and will be able to remove the locks and also tell you the key #.

Yes it was bought at Toyota, just the dealership is a 4 hour drive... This is coming up on its first service at a different dealership (way closer) and not looking to get fleeced when they say they can't take the lock off. Maybe I have too much interactions with the local tire shops! I was hoping to get a key and have it for myself for the just in case scenario. One of those things you don't realize it until its too late. Thanks!!!

You can go to any Toyota dealership, they all have the keys.

Not to be a party pooper, but those locks are easily defeated..

But as others stated, your dealership should have a box full of them.

Did you go thru the truck and see if the key was hidden somewhere?

@1lowlife Oh absolutely understood and was told to do that to begin with. I was 1) just trying to beat the dealership to the punch 2) keep one for future use.
I did check everywhere and realized this about a month back. So I can't blame the dealership at this point. It is coming up on service due and should have the wheels rotated. Hence why I polled the forum.... Was hoping a Toyota tech/mechanic on here would be able to chime in. As an earlier post => there are 4-5 master locks maybe someone has seen it or have it on their vehicle and could "possibly" pass me the number to purchase. Hope that makes sense.

Looks like mine, Mcgaurd bought from Toyota. I can send the code if you think I'm right.

Tire dealers usually have them also.

@e30cabrio I will swing by the dealership to see what they will say, if not Discount tire, which is closer. Thank you all.

Back when I had them, I noticed the dealership forgot to put it back in my cupholder where I left it for them on a tire rotation.
They literally had a box of lug keys, tried them until they found one that fit, and gave it to me..

I will say the @e30cabrio lock sure does look A LOT like yours.
Although you have a little more 'point' at the 10:00 position..

    [IMG][IMG]

I ended up giving mine away..
But I'd bet, and hope, the dealer has a match and can give you the key number.
I'm so weird about that stuff when I did have them, I ordered an extra key from McGard.:D

If you do not want to go to the dealer due to the 4 hour drive, McGard may have a solution.

Years ago, I lost the key. McGard said to put paper over the lock, and with a pencil get an impression of lock and send it to them. They match it and send you the key.

@T-Guy69 and everyone else who chimed in...
All just wanted close this out that I did get in touch with a human on the phone (unheard of these days) at McGard. She used that picture and gave me a code. I ordered it today and hope to have it before I take in in for service. With pouch it was ~23 bucks. Not too terribly bad. That will be a lesson learned should I every buy another (used) car in the future. Thanks again to all who chimed in.

With all the wheel thefts going on right now. I ended up buying myself a set of wheel locks for my Tundra. They are Mcgards and I agree with you that it can be easily defeated. Do we know of any better locks available? I saw another video of this guy demonstrating 5 ways to remove different kind of locks and one of them had a spinning sleeve as a deterent which I really like. I believe it was Mopar brand but I don't think they make them for our Tundras

    Anything is better than nothing..
I ended up on TRD spline nuts, I doubt any thief has a spline socket to fit, and they'd have to get every one of them off as opposed to one lock..
I also doubt no one wants my 10 year old OEM TSS wheels..:eek2::D
This was back when they were new and looked good..

I'm thinking of getting a 2nd set of Mcgard wheel locks that are different than the ones I just bought. Maybe I'm over worrying but these thefts are gettin crazy and I would be sooo pissed if it happened to me. I read somewhere here or on TacomaWorld that there are like over hundred different possible McGard keys? Is this true?
After watching the video I linked to from TW, it scares me to see how easy it could be for any of the different wheel locks.

    I don't know.
Not sure if you have catalytic converter shields, but I'd be more concerned with cat theft than wheel theft.
    Don't ask how I know...:eek2::cool:
