New guy posting first question. I used the search and couldn't find an answer. I even used the google machine with no luck.

I have a 2014 DC SR5 TRD Offroad I just recently purchased. The truck has 18" OE wheels and the previous owner had a set of 1" wheel spacer put all the way around. The current tires are Falken Wildpeak AT3 285-75-18 and I like the looks and fitment is good with my 2.5" front lift. I removed the front mudflaps and put on the .5" bumper shims and have no rubbing. My question is with an OE +60mm offset and the 1" spacer does that equate to a +35 offset? I am figuring 1" equals 25.4mm so 60-25.4= 34.6 rounded up to 35mm. I am looking for an aftermarket wheel and get rid of the spacer but keep close to the same look so I am thinking a wheel with a 35mm offset would be the one.

Am I thinking about this the right way or am I out in left field?

    Thanks new guy from Maine.

Thanks for the welcome from Alberta! You have some great hunting and fishing I would love to try. I actually found a calculator that answers my question and allows anyone to compare different set ups. According to the calculator an +60 offset with a 1" spacer is the same as a +35mm offset and no spacer.

Welcome. Yes, your math seems to be correct. You might have a hard time finding a wheel with exactly 35 offset. Might have to settle with a 30 or whatever the specific wheel manufacturer offers. There seems to be not a whole lot of options for each wheel style. Most that I looked at offers a +20 and 0 as the only options.

    Boerseun,

Thank you. I also found it difficult to find a wheel I like with a 35 offset but did find some with 25 that look pretty nice. I will keep looking and maybe budget a wheel or two every month until I get a set.
