Just put 1.25 spacers on. Tough choice rather to do or not, but I do like.

Looks great. I just ordered some 1.25" wheel spacers from BORA for my land cruiser wheels (+60mm offset) to push them out some.

    Looks great.
    I've been debating this too.

You ever had bad experience with spacers?

Only time I ever used spacers was on a high mileage tacoma and I had to replace front wheel bearings a few months later. Not sure if coincidence. My tundra is over 100k miles so maybe it might be asking for trouble.

I never had spacers before and have heard a lot of good and bad. Seems like the most knowing people on the subject all say the same thing, it’s no problem and safe when installed properly. I did the initial retorque today and not one of the 20 nuts had moved. Put a line of white paint on them so I’ll a quick check option in the future. Thanks for the compliments!

Was thinking of getting the spidertrax spacers but I don't want blue spacers showing, so looking into Bora now.

I have trd offroad wheels and you have to look only at certain angles to see the blue. Looks great! 1.25 spacers completely change the image of the truck

I have 6 lug spidertrax and boras that I used for a test fit before ordering steel spacers. I noticed the boras have a sightly tighter hub centric tolerance to the rotor. They both likely leave a hair of space for heat expansion. Both are high quality and grade 10.9 lugs.

I'm in the camp that as long as you buy high quality spacers like BORA or Spidertrax and install/maintain them correctly, they are fine. I liked the Toyota wheels, so wanted the wheel/tire to stick out a little more and more factory UCAs clearance. Otherwise, I would have just bought aftermarket wheels with the correct offset. I've run spacers for years on 4Runners, Tacomas, and now my 2016 Tundra. I started out with 1.25" but went to 1" BORAs to help a bit with crap being thrown on the side of the truck:

1.25" Spacers, Off Road Wheels, 295/70 R18 Cooper Discoverers XLT AT3, and TRD Pro suspension + .5" CB front spacer, 1.5" Rear shackles:

Same tires and suspension but TRD Pro BBS wheels and 1" BORA wheel spacers:

I used Extreme 1 1/4" spacers. Very satisfied with Extreme parts in the past an pleased with the spacers. Checked the torque on every lug after a couple hundred miles and they were still on spec.

with the 1in bora spacers, did you have to trim the studs on the front or back in order to fit them?

Anyone ever use a 0.375" BORA spacer? I have a slight rub on my UCA and would like for it to just clear "but" not sure if that will solve the problem or create other rubbing. I should be fine, I have space everywhere except for of course where I did not plan for it to happen

EDIT: I am not sure how this is supposed to work with hub centric wheels being this thin. I need to check my wheels and see how thick the hub lip is

This is not true. The oem 20" i have on my 2020 even with the pocket got press marks on them and really messed up my front. After i installed the 1" with that protruding bolt issue the front was never the same. I went to 2" but have shaking issues at 70mph. Now i took them out completely

Sorry, I never want to mislead anyone with my experience using 1" BORA spacers. I had no issues and "did not recall" the front situation as I only took photos of the rear. I have deleted my previous post.

Hello all. I just installed 1 inch wheel spacers on my 2015 tundra double cab. The 1 inch spacers had plenty of room to spare regarding the studs. The rear studs only stuck out maybe 1/8 inch past the spacer. The front studs were flush. The OEM aluminum wheels have a good 1/4 inch indentation on the rear of them.... So the 1 inch spacers work perfectly without trimming the studs. But..... After I had them all installed, I noticed them passenger rear wheel stuck out about 3/4 inch further than the left side. I triple checked and could not figure it out. But then, I searched another thread here and ..ITS NORMALL, ON ALL TUNDRA'S. you just don't notice it until you space the wheels out or put wider tires on. Oh well ,nothing to worry about, I just hope the 4
wheel alignment goes well next week.

Has anyone changed to shorter wheel studs to accommodate 1 inch spacers? I have 1 inch Bora spacers on order, but would rather swap studs instead of trimming them.

Hello Texas, what rims do you have?. I have the OEM limited wheels and the 1 inch spacers worked just fine. There was plenty of room , as listed above, this he OEM wheels have a recess in the back. And the studs barely stuck out past the spacers. Regardless of what others said... Mine only stuck out about 1/8 inch past the spacers. Hope this helps.

I also did the 1.5 inch front lift/level kit at the same time I put my spacers on. Had truck aligned and everything worked great. No trouble with alignment either. Truck looks perfect... Just a little wider stance and a slight rake to the front ,ales or looks bigger, it still looks factory. but it looks almost like a 3/4 to truck.
