Nice, share once they're done. I'd like to see how they turn out.

I'm not sure the difference, I assumed they were called side steps.
Basically what I'm looking for is a long running board wheel to wheel. I like the ones on the black Tundra above. I have a long box aswell and I need easy access to box behind window for work.

Steps are just that, helps you get in and out of truck and you can stand on and access your box.

Sliders are structurally stronger to protect the frame from damage during off-roading, when crawling over rocks and your truck falls on the rocks the sliders take the hit cuz its bolted or welded on to the truck's frame and wont get crushed, where a step will be pancake.

Good to know, definitely steps is all I'm after. Thanks.

They're pretty slick, after quick search I dont see any for the long bed.
That has been the issue with most searches. I found "Luverne Grip" ones and that's about the only option. Not interested in round tubular ones.

Browse the many builds on the forum, you're bound to find one or hopefully someone who has em will come along soon.

    Pretty much everything
I mean in my experience your gonna pay pretty close to the same price unless you go a cheap aftermarket which in my opinion is still too expensive. So if I was going to pay the same price I’d get sliders, you can step on both but only drop the truck on one so if something does happen wouldn’t you wanna know you’ll have little or no damage? Someone sides swipes you that steps gonna get ripped off and potentially take the body with it. Slider gets side swiped it may save the body from damage and your not ripping it off the frame unless you have an inexperienced welder. Sorry that was so long just wanted to make sure you knew everything before making a decision
