I think most of what I see are tan leather, tan cloth and light grey. Really like the black dash and darker interior the most. Just curious if there was a certain package or year that had it. Thanks!

Maybe on the T3 edition Tundras?

I can't think that i've ever seen a normal Base/SR5/Limited with a black interior. Maybe a donor from a Sequoia?

I've seen some on this forum that people have done custom jobs by painting their interiors, but not from the factory.

I've got black dash, dark door cards, dark carpet and grey seats. I put black seat covers on. The Coverking black/black mesh seat covers fit like factory.

For reference my truck is white exterior 2006 SR5 TRD Off-Road DC.

Forgive how dirty the interior is.

Yup, the truck vin plate shows FK12 - dark grey. Dark interior from the factory.

I can't find specific production numbers but the 1st gen Tundras and Sequoias that have FK11 - grey and FK12 - dark charcoal option will have the black dash, darker door cards, dark carpet, and grey seats.

Toyota doesn't release production numbers for option packages, only total annual sales. Unless a member on here knows of a secret source of info.

Lots of trucks had extremely dark grey and a steering wheel or dash that looks nearly black. Not saying it's what Tim's got, but ...

As I was schooled on previously by one of the Texas boys (@Mr.bee or @5N0W808), the T3 came with straight-up black everything inside. But, black-black, not grey that's so dark it looks black.

FD12 is the color code I have from a wrecked T3. A lot of the step side limiteds also were the FD12

It’s dark grey. Side panels and seats will be mid grey. There were non with dark seats sadly.

Yup, this is basically my color. If you're parked in my basement garage with the door closed, it looks black. Get it out in the sun and it's got a touch of grey, almost like black paint that's hazed/oxidized. Color code on my door and build sheet is "FB12".

The real giveaway is the center dash, which is matte black. When you look at the line where it meets the dash, the discrepancy is maybe clearer.

Black would sure look less dated.

The light grey plastic everywhere however is such a signature of a certain automotive era. A really bad automotive era really, except for our trucks of course ;)

Beats the hell out of beige/tan/taupe that was so popular in the 80s/90s, though. I swear 2/3 out of the dozens of cars I've had were sporting something in the vein of tan.

I like tan leather interiors inside sports cars. If you're driving fancy, why not make it look like a leather wallet, you know? I also like two-tone interiors inside sports cars, for the same reasons.

But yeah. Nothing against the guys with "Fawn" (or whatever) 1GT interiors. I just think the darker/grey interiors happen to look a lot better. I also think Toyota did a better job designing the 1GT DC interiors compared to AC/RC interiors.

Does anyone have a vin I could punch in for parts or know where I could find replacement interior parts for a 2000 SR5 AC Tundra 4.7L. I'm hoping to replace with dark parts like the Grey or almost black.

i swapped in base model sequoia dash and console and door inserts to get the black
if i ever recover the seats i am likely doing black but they are in great shape as of now, so they are going to stay sandy colored for now.
