This stealthbox is pushing 2x 10inch JL 10TW3-D4 subs. Which are pre wired at 2ohms. Was looking into skar rp amps, since I hear amazing things. Bur it's only rated at 1 ohms. And now I'm curious what others have used. Really wish it came with an amp, especially considering price.
    Thanks yall.
    It's for my 2020 crewmax

The sub wiring and the amp load are flexible to a degree. Depending on the voicecoils of the JL’s (assuming they are 4 Ohm wired in series) you could run a variety of ohm loads depending on the amp and how you wire the speakers to it. The amp can supply power at various loads depending on the speaker wiring it is presented. If you wire the stealth box to the amp in its 2ohm configuration, the amp will present power to the speakers based on that and would reduce the wattage output from the 1 Ohm rating by half or so. Using 2 - 2 ohm speakers wired in series would present a 1 Ohm load to the amp. Or purchase another quality mono amp based on its Ohm output to match you wattage needs. Most reputable names offer Class D digital amps with great power output. Rockford has affordable digital mono amps. Kicker, pioneer, alpine etc.

I had the stealthbox for a bit, i ran it off JL HD900/5 that gave it 500w rms to the subs.

You are fine for anywhere between 500-800w rms from the amp. personally, i wouldn't cheap out on the amp. Go with a matching JL amp.

I agree. I also have 2 - 10TW3-D4 subs but in a custom box. I run JL audio 5ch HD900/5 amp also which sounds great. If you don't need a 5 ch...you can go with a mono amp like the XD600/1.

I ended up ditching the stealthbox and went with the same subs in a ported box. Pretty big difference!

I'm actually getting a box from James hopefully. Ported 2x 10s. And gonna buy the 10tw3d4 combo to put in it. Couldnt decide between sealed or ported, but I think the ported will sound better. Good to know I have something to look forward to

I have the JL Audio Stealthbox SB-T-TUNDB3/10TW3/BK with 2 10TW3-D4 for the double cab.
I run it off an Alpine PDX V9 that reads 525 sub-channel watts on the spec sheet.

It sounds fine after sounding like shit for several years.
I finally took it apart to see JL wired it in series and it was nowhere near the advertised 1 ohm for the enclosure.
This was in 2015 when they came with 4-ohm subs.
I rewired it in parallel and it has sounded great ever since.

I've gone back and forth thinking about sealed or ported enclosures.
I want tight clean bass so I went with sealed.
From what I gathered a ported box will have a 'looser' low end.

    Go with ported.
