I was replaced the accordion boots on my rack and pinion yesterday, only to find out i had a little bit of slop in the ball and socket on the drive side inner rod (not the tie rod end). It there an aftermarket brand that sells higher quality steering components? Rock auto had a few different choices. My local NAPA sells the Dorman brand. At this point i don’t really want to shell out big bucks for OEM.

I’ve used Moog for inner tie rods and have had no issues for years now. I bought them at Advanced Auto with a 20-30% off sale coupon code online for pickup at the store.

Not necessarily higher quality but comparable quality IMO.
