    The top one just pops in while the other 4 are retained with a locking pin. I'd vote the German Shepard or the flag, I'm not a fan of the fake bed lock look of the two Tundra ones. But without seeing your truck or knowing you, these are very pointless recommendations. Buy the one you like and can afford. Or make your own.

    The Plastic one. It won’t rattle off the black paint coating then allow rust to form. The plastic ones also seem to keep the water out better as they fit snug.

    Too many, but not enough....
    i have a skid plate/step combo on my hitch that I really like, if you are open to something like that. Was like $80 bucks on Amazon and its pretty solidly built. I do like that claymore one though lol.

    Plastic or rubber. I bought a nice-looking "stainless steel" one on Amazon and it's rusted almost instantly. I'd return it but I custom painted the cover side of it. Into the recycle bin.
