I have the standard TRD wheels with standard 275/65/18 tires. Looking to go a size up for aesthetics and ride comfort on road and light off road.

ride height is stock, will level in future
I'm fine with light trimming/bending to fit

-I do not want issues with alignment or balancing (standard suspension parts)
-I'd like to not lose too much acceleration (too big/heavy of a tire)

Should I go 275/70r18 (one inch taller) or 285/65r18 (about 1/2 inch wider and taller)?

Tire specific, I like the Falken Wildpeak AT3W

I just put on LT275/70/18's on my TRD rims and like the look. No rubbing at all, although I'll be adding a 3" lift soon.

Mmmmm dont overlook nitro awesome tires. E rating too. Personally I'm going with 285/65/18 ridge grappler. Had nitro on all my Toyotas. They wear like steel. Food for thought ;)

That what I tell people nitto is under looked at. But cheaper than other brands. We put nittos on wife’s sienna q421 or something it was like having 5 wheels rolled like a beast. But now she has an 19 atlas vw I frowned on it but is a tank 5k tow too.

Love me some Coopers if you can get em in that size. Great ride quality, tread life AND made in America.

Another great tire that most dont talk about is the Mickey Thompson line. I had 4 of the hybrids ( cross between mud and all terrain) super ride and wear. Those falkins look good. Hows the buzz in the cab?

I like 275/70s. Look nice on a stock or leveled truck. Lots of tire options in that size, as long as you don't mind load E

If you’re gonna lift or level and don’t need new tires wait. I bought 33” but went to 35” once I leveled. Have a set of 275/70r18 for sale I took off after 10k miles to upsize.

My parents will be traveling to SC in March for pig hunting. Maybe I'll get them to swing by and pick these up

If they’re still around I would be happy to load them up. Also, excellent choice for AT tire even if you don’t end up with mine. I have BFG to compare them too and in rain they far exceed the traction of BFG. Also they are quiet and smooth.
