I'm having issues with a Whirlpool Cabrio washing machine. It shakes violently and moves all over the place. I constantly have to reposition the load and it never gives an out of balance error. The clothes are soaked, and I'm assuming its caused by the other issues. Any help on what to look at will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Owners manual is located under the top panel behind the front piece if I remember right.

assuming you are loading right it says check for level or select slower spin speed.

You can put it in diagnostic mode and check for errors.
    Does it drain?

Take it apart and make sure all the springs are in place that hold the drum in place

I looked at the springs today. None of them seem to be broken that I could tell. I'll look again though. All of the rods are fine. The tub itself drains, but the loads are drenched. I'm thinking it's because it's not spinning them out because of the severe wobbling? The machine is about 6 years or so.

I found the whole OEM suspension kit on Amazon for $53.00. Sounds like a good plan since the springs could be worn and not broken at all.

Probably worth a shot but I’ve chased problems before with washer machines and it always ends up with my replacing it.

I would replace the springs with that kit from Amazon. I have a washing machine that is twenty years old and I changed them twice already

We had a Speed Queen that lasted 25 years and was never serviced for anything. Just bought a new Whirlpool and I’m hoping for 10 years. If you have kids 6 years might be all the good years you get out of it. If you decide to replace it look at Speed Queen. We no longer have a dealer close by or I’d have a new one. They are more expensive but not in the long run.

Any washing machine called a "Cabrio" has got to have some problems imo. SMH. :D

Pictured washer above is a new design top loader with no center agitator. If it has no center shaft to center the tub, then it likely has a "spider" inner tub support bracket just like the front loaders. If the machine has a spider tub support bracket, that is likely your problem. The service life of a tub support bracket in a Samsung front loader is around five years. Unless the owner can change the support bracket DIY, then it's not economical to pay someone to diagnose and repair it.

I suggest you go to link below to look up the tub parts configuration. If that model has a "spider" tub support bracket, they'll probably have a repair video as well. Also check out youTube for repair videos...it's always my first stop for DIY help. People have made videos about everything under the sun.

When I was shopping for washers this was a known issue with some of the newer top loading washers, and I do not think its truly fixable. I read a boat load of complaints about it! You may want to look in the reviews section of your particular washer and see if anyone found the solution, or Youtube it.

    Sorry and good luck.

I Google and YouTube everything it’s crazy how much information is out there. Just watch everything and use common sense to eliminate certain information sometimes. I am a French model .

Update...washer is fixed. All of the springs and rods were connected and none were broken. They were just worn out. I installed the new ones and did a load and no issues......a perfectly drained load. I will have to replace the tub upper ring.....it was shredded and mangled on some of the edges. It actually got caught under the edge of the back panel.

Nice man sure does beat wasting money on a new one. Glad it worked out for you.
