I'm getting white flakes flying at my face that fly out of the ducts and fill up the cabin whenever I turn on the truck's blower. Some days seem worse than others. I think it might be corrosion on the evaporator flaking off. Does anyone think a can of that A/C cleaning foam would do anything? I'm not trying to tear the dash apart to replace it!

    I've checked:
    1. Cabin Air Filter
    2. Vents themselves
    3. Blower Motor
    4. ...and what I believe is the evaporator using an endoscope
Please see pics and video (link) below and feel free to discuss any thoughts.

Example of white flakes - passenger rear floor:

That’s awesome, you got it to snow.
It could be pieces of cabin filter after being chewed on by rodents. I don’t think your trucks old enough for that much corrosion.

reread your post, guess you checked filter.

I could be wrong but I'm leaning towards the evaporator coating

Do you happen to live near the ocean? Might be salt flaking from the air after condensation dries in the system. Or it could be dried mildew, but you would likely have a smell you would notice. If it is one of those, your only option, other that the foam you mention, is to take it all apart and clean the ducts and vents.

If it is the evap coating that is flaking and peeling, you would have to replace it to get it to stop. The evap coating will do that sometimes if you live in an area where you have major temperature extremes. I guess you could wait and see if all the coating eventually flakes off and out, but I would think that would take a very, very long time.

You could try that spray foam, but I don't think it will help much.

The other option is to just live with it.

Yeah take a look at the pics and vids I was able to get.
PNW but far from the water and no mildew smell. Gotta be the coating. I guess we'll see if it calms down by next season if not maybe I'll get a hair up my rear end and feel like pulling the dash lol

Thanks for the info all and good to know it's not corroding away on me!
