Why is my infotainment asking for my PIN daily?

It has been months since it's asked for it and now I'm getting it 3 of the last 4 days.

Have you linked your key? Doing that resolved a bunch of my infotainment issues.

Same here, a while back my 2022 was doing that about daily or even multiple times per day. Then it stopped or at least became seldom and then in the past week or so I'm being promoted for a pin almost daily again. It's really annoying!

(for me, I have definitely have confirmed key is linked several times)

I get the Do you want to adjust the seats message randomly every couple of days. Key linked. Same phone. Nothing different.

Thanks, I have read most of those threads, but they are all over the place regarding the reason this message appears, and the proper fix.

To reiterate, my FOB has been linked to my profile twice. There is no other profile set up. My FOB remains in my truck 95% of the time.

My only guess is my truck has been sitting for about 2 weeks in my garage without being driven, with the FOB in the center console. Does the system lose the FOB/profile link after a certain period of no use?

This seems to be the most common answer in all the threads that bother Godzilla so much. No one knows what causes the message to randomly appear after months of normal operation, and no one can explain why sometimes re-linking the FOB fixes it, or why it may just go away on it's own.

Mine just started doing this (asking for PIN) a few days ago. The last time that happened my Nav subscribtion ran out and it kept asking for a PIN every 5 minutes. I fixed it with the phone app (syncing the PIN) but now a few months later it's started back again asking me for a PIN. For WHAT? to listen to my Radio???
