looking at my tire options here and the options are better in 17" not to mention my prefered wheels are available in 17" as well.

    Bolt pattern 5H - 150 mm BCD
Lug style M14 shank nut (hub piloted)
Hub bore diameter 4.32" (109.8 mm)

It looks like it will clear but wanted to make sure or see if anyone has done it. I now the second Gens will fit.

    Thank you

Tnx brother, appreciate the love. Yeah if anyone got any questions feel free. I might not get back to ya immediately, but I always respond soon as I check the threads.

17s will fit, but there's lot of factors that go into it depending on your setup. Trust me I've done the research. Here's mine 17" methods on 35 Pitbull Rockers. If you think I can help feel free to reach out. I've helped many just ask around.

And yes they get dirty too. This was yesterday a week after I cleaned them.

Did you go with 17” so the 35’s wouldn’t rub?

Hey buddy, hope all is well. Yeah I couldn't resist the deal I got on tires. I found someone selling 5 brand new 35x12.5r17 pitbull Rockers for $900. Once I bought the tires I needed the 17 inch rims. I'm a big fan of the smaller rim and bigger tire. I just initially wasn't about to spend money on a 17 just to save an inch. Despite getting more offset and not needing spacers which was a bonus too. Look wise I still like the pro rims. Plan was to throw 35x12.5r18 on them before I found the deal on pitbulls.

No. My original plan was going to throw the same tires I had but in 35x12.5r18 on the stock pro wheels with the spidertrax I had already before this winter. Things changed when I found a steal on tires. Whether it's a 17 or 18 rim the 35s will still be 35s. Different manufacturers do measure different in their true dimensions. For example, most 35s measure under 35. Mine are a rarity where they actually measure almost 35 n half. It's just a difference in how much sidewall you get in a tire with the difference in rim size. On 24s the sidewall is almost non existent, hence harsher ride, on a 17 theres a ton of sidewall, hence the cushion. I do prefer the look and benefits of a smaller wheel.

I've got a stock 2021 SR5 DC. No lift or leveling. I'm considering going with some Method 17" wheels and am trying to figure out the biggest tires I can fit without doing a lift or level. (I'm going with K02's). I spoke with Method and they recommended that I stay with their 0 offset wheels, even though they are about to start offering 33 offsets. Not sure how that will affect what tire I can go with and avoid rubbing.

How will the 0 offset affect the tire size selection? What is the largest tire I can get away with on 17s with 0 offset? @mgm16trdpro do you have any input?

I'm not sure how much I should care about going up on tire width. Does it really help that much in traction to go up 10mm in width?

So I got a stock suspension pro with 2 shims upfront and +3 shackle in rear. With that setup I can confirm u can go with a 35x12.5r17 on a zero offset rim. Only thing u would probably need due to the more negative offset at 0 is a body mount chop. It doesn't hurt truck structurally, just allows for more clearance. If you went with a higher offset like +18 or +25 u may be able to avoid the bmc if that scares u. I'm probably driving the meatiest 35" tire that's made so I had to trim a bit of front plastic lower bumper. But that's an extreme, you won't need to do that unless u scored yourself some pitbull rockers. If u did let me know where I can find 4 more lol. Good luck.

Haha. Yeah I was thinking more like 33s since I don’t want to do a level or a lift. But it sounds like, based on your input, that the 0 offset will push me more in the direction of needing a chop if I’m at the upper limit of what I can do without a level.
